With the sale to HAL of its 60% stake in the Mexican company Tide Ti S.A., which owns the Mexican optical chains Sunglass Island and Sunglass Optical, the investment company and Safilo finalized the expected divestments of Safilo’s non-core business according to the agreements of October 2009. Safilo itself remains the owner of the 161 Solstice stores in the United States of America.
