Last Monday Bottega Veneta and Safilo announced the renewal of their existing license agreement. Safilo will remain responsible for the design, production and distribution of the sunglasses and prescription frames of the Italian luxury brand until the end of 2020. After Yves Saint Laurent earlier this month, Bottega Veneta is the second brand belonging to the Gucci Group which expresses its confidence in Safilo. The long period of even ten years is another sign and proves Safilo is on the right track again.
