In the fourth quarter of 2012 Safilo increased its sales with 17% compared to the same period last year. This is mainly due to the Polaroid sales in this quarter. The prescription frames of Carrera also contributed substantially. For the full year 2012 the increase in sales totalled 6,7% or 2,2 at constant exchange rates. Net income went slightly down compared to 2011 but debts decreased with 23 million euro.
