Almost all Dutch (independent) opticians now carry wooden frames and sunglasses in their collections. Buffalo horn experiences a revival and we can even sell stone frames. All of them natural materials which fit perfectly into the trend towards sustainability. That is even more true for bamboo (sun)glasses. Bamboo has the major advantage that it grows real fast and can be cut without any problem. One season later the plant has grown up again. The Dutch eyewear manufacturer Sinner is one of the companies which offer a bamboo collection. In combination with its polarized Sintec lenses, the company composed an interesting series which does pretty well this Summer season.
