For the first time in the company’s history, OWP invited designers worldwide to compete with ideas for frames and new design solutions. People from 27 countries reacted. The jury choose these three designs as the best ones. On first place the design of Coerte Voorhees from the U.S.A. with the focus on the new hinge. Second place for the mask of Zohar Azuz from Israël and at the third place a Dutch design by Le NTP, composed of sustainable material and with interchangeable temples. End of January the three winning designs can be seen at the OWP booth at the Opti Munich.
