Safilo recently appointed a new Chief Executive Officer who will start her new job on October 15 of this year. The current CEO Roberto Vedovotto, will be replaced by Luisa Delgado who is already a non-executive member of the Safilo board. Delgado is currently working for SAP and made her career at Procter & Gamble. She will join Safilo on September 15. Vedovotto remains as a non-executive member of the board.
