Luxottica announced the acquisition of the Brazilian eyewear manufacturer and retailer Grupo Tecnol. This transaction will strengthen Luxottica’s position in this important emerging market. It will allow Luxottica to source products locally and increase the deliveries and service levels to Brazilian opticians. Grupo Tecnol currently realizes sales of 90 million euro and is worth about 110 million euro.
