Last month the first participants of the Future4Opticians program of Essilor started their education courses. The aim is to prepare them for future management jobs or ownerships in or of optical stores. Opticians who already have a store but want to improve their management skills are also welcome. For Essilor it is important to secure the existence of premium optical stores in the future. These kind of stores sell the company’s most advanced products. Alex Versteeg of Essilor Benelux comments: “Our business partners are important to introduce our innovations in the market. They are able to translate our products in a valuable way to their clients”. After completing this course all members have the possibility to become a member of Essilor’s Opticians4Future business club. This business club facilitates its members to meet each other, discuss business topics, share experiences and discover new opportunities. Next year May or June a new group will start.
