Contactlens manufacturer Johnson & Johnson is discussed in the media these days as the company had to withdraw 100.000 packages of the 1 Day Acuvue TruEye lenses from the market after complaints about prickly eyes from Japanese contactlens wearers. The 100.000 packages belong to a certain series which is mainly sold in Japan but could have reached other markets as well. This is not the first time this year that Johnson & Johnson had to withdraw products after complaints of consumers.
