Post image for Silhouette joins the trend

Yesterday the CES, the world’s largest Consumer Electronics Show, was opened in Las Vegas. No wonder 3D technology gets a lot of attention at this fair. Las month we already reported about the cooperation between Alain Mikli and LG who will show their Mikli for LG 3D glasses at this fair and now we found out that Mikli is not the only designer to cooperate with a leading electronics company. Silhouette signs for this design with active “shutter” technology stored in the two back compartments in the ear tips. The frame is supposed to charge wireless which should be considered revolutionary. Silhouette designed it exclusively for Samsung and describes the frame, in the best Silhouette tradition, as the lightest 3D glasses on earth. It is interesting to see which eyewear manufacturers and designers are chosen by these electronics giants to make their televisions as attractive as possible to a large group of consumers. It is certainly a kind of award for both Mikli and Silhouette and once again proves that putting money and efforts in a distinguishing design, a good and consistent marketing and a strong brand will always pay back!
