Yesterday the first eleven participants of the new Dutch “speed” course for employees of Independent Opticians got their certificates. To finish they visited the HOYA plant at Uithoorn to see how high-tech lenses are produced. All eleven of them joined all fifteen lessons of this interactive course. The goal was to learn to understand more of all processes in the stores and about the connections within the industry as well as about the distinguishing elements and advantages of Independent Opticians. All participants, not at least thanks to their active contribution and involvement, leave this course with more self-confidence and a bit more Independent Opticians DNA in their genes. And that was exactly what this course was meant for. Thanks to the success it will be repeated in 2013, once again sponsored by the Hoofdbedrijfschap Ambachten.
