Yesterday evening Dutch daily television talk show RTL Boulevard paid attention to the Fireworks protection eyewear campaign organized by the Dutch independent opticians in close cooperation with author and television host Daphne Deckers. Daphne herself explained why this is so important and got a lot of support of her RTL Boulevard colleagues. Great publicity for the campaign and the Dutch independent opticians which will be followed later this week with major publications in daily newspapers METRO and SPITS. Posters of the campaign are placed at schools and forwarded to all independent opticians in a serious attempt to diminish the eye damage due to fireworks around Sylvester.
