At the last MIDO fair in Milan, Nike Eyewear introduced a complete new collection which, thanks to the collection and the price-quality relation, promises to become very successful. In addition the Dutch Marchon subsidiary created an unique promotion campaign to support the Dutch opticians in selling this collection and improving their fashion awareness and skills. In the next months several well-known fashion magazines as well as television shows will pay a lot of attention to this new Nike Vintage collection. Opticians and/or their employees who decide to sell this collection will get the opportunity to experience how these magazines or shows produce these photoshoots or items. Marchon arranged that one or two of their clients can join the production teams and see how they work. The first shoot will be for Cosmopolitan in Italy in June. The opticians will travel with the team and will be actively involved in the production. How does the Cosmopolitan team translate the Nike Vintage feeling, how does the make-up artist work, what does the stylist take with her? A unique project by Marchon Netherlands which will later be followed by more shoots for other magazines and shows. Dutch opticians who want to be involved are invited to make an appointment with the Nike reps right now.
