Not that long ago it all sounded like science fiction but in the meantime more and more companies experiment with 3D technology and soon everyone can start selling 3D printed frames and sunglasses if he wants so. During SILMO the German company Morgenrot was awarded with a SILMO d’Or for its collection produced with SLS laser sintering technology. The collection will be available as from the beginning of 2015 and offers many options to personalize frames and sunglasses according to the demands of your clients. Interesting developments which every optician should take seriously!
