Greving & Greving at Assen will get a complete new building to host the store which has been located here since 1971. In that year, Dirk Greving, the father of the current owners of the company, bought it to open his optical store. Renovation of the current building, built around 1900, would be very expensive. For that reason the management of Greving & Greving decided to break down the complete building and design a new flagshipstore for the company. The prominent new building will host the store and the atelier at the ground floor, the contactlens and optometric department at the first floor and a newly founded optical museum at the second floor.
