Also thanks to all new introductions, Marcolin increased its sales in the first nine months of this year with 8,8% compared to the same period last year. Debts decreased and net profit increased. Sales and net profits in the third quarter however seem to slow down, like at other eyewear manufacturers, and CEO Vito Vittaro warns for a further slow down in the fourth quarter. Nevertheless 2011 seems to become a new record year for Marcolin. Sales in Europe increased moderate, in America even better but the results there were highly influenced by the weak dollar against the euro. Asia does perfect with a very strong increase just like the rest of the world.
