Over the second quarter of this year as well as the first half year, Safilo reports a net income or respectively 12,9 million euro and 31,3 million euro. The Italian manufacturer of branded eyewear is back in the black figures after posting a loss of respectively 5 million euro and 3,3 million euro in the same periods last year. Sales increased to 302,6 in the second quarter and 603,3 million euro over the half year. Net debts decreased to slightly more as 240 million euro.
