Safilo and Yves Saint Laurent have announced to continue the current license agreement which allows Safilo to design, produce and distribute the prescription glasses and sunglasses of the famous French fashion house until at least the end of December 2015. Valerie Hermann, CEO of Yves Saint Laurent which is part of the Gucci Group and owned by PPR, and Roberto Vedovotto, CEO of Safilo, showed themselves satisfied with the current cooperation and expressed their confidence in a further growth of the iconic brand in a joint press release yesterday.
