With a new hall uniting Underground and Galleria and Marchon, Safilo and Luxottica dominating the central hall, the Vision Expo East has improved its routing. The show confirmed what we knew already. Eyefashion in Europe and certainly in the Netherlands is ahead of the mainstream we saw here, so nothing new for us. In addition most trendy labels showed the same styles as we have seen in Milan recently. So few new things at the fair but more than enough inspiration in the city. Stores, hotels and restaurants and all the people in the streets reflect the sign of the times and that’s what we like.
