The team of Garmin-Transitions did have a good start of the Tour de France last Saturday in Rotterdam with a third and seventh place in the first stage. Vision-Today was invited by Transitions Optical and could see it all from nearby. Hundreds of thousands of spectators did not care about the rain and saw how youngster Martin early in the stage finished in a very good time that was finally only beaten by Cancellara who was one of the last starters in the race. The Garmin-Transitions team seems to be in good shape and ready to create a lot of advertising just like it did in the Giro. All riders wear Oakley frames with a special type of Transitions photochromatic lenses which never colour back to transparent but assure a bright sight under all weather circumstances. What is good for them should certainly be good for other spectacle wearers who like a comfortable and sharp vision. Once again a few weeks in which it is extra interesting to talk with your clients in the store about Transitions lenses!
