The catwalkshow at the Dutch Fete de la Vue party of last Saturday already creates some publicity – just look for example at the lifestyle page of major newspaper Telegraaf – and will do that in the next months online and in magazines. Much to see at this show! Polaroid showed its second Best under the Sun collection proving once again that the brand already created “fashion” when the fashion brands hadn’t even discovered (sun)glasses as a fashion item. Trussardi flew in a part of its Summer collection allowing the models to show both clothes and sunglasses of the brand. Italia Independent did the same and seems to conquer the Netherlands like it did and does Italy. For the first time Jason Wu showed some of his dresses and of course his sunglasses at a Dutch catwalk, something apparently appreciated by the Dutch fashion press at the front row. Guess, Sama and Joop! showed their new sunglasses in combination with the apparel of Dutch labels LaDress and Supertrash. Last but not least Dutch fashion brand Van Gils introduced its first eyewear collection designed by Ralph Vaessen. Of course with the models dressed in Van Gils! All in all an inspiring show in a great décor. The guests felt like being in Saint Tropez where sunglasses always play an important role as fashion accessories. Do you want to see more of it? Just have a look at our “events” page where you will find all the pictures of this amazing show!
