Next year LG Electronics will start to deliver 3D glasses designed by Alain Mikli in one package with its premium televisions. The new televisions and the glasses will be presented at the beginning of the year on the occasion of the CES Consumer Electronic Fair in Las Vegas. LG expects to distinguish itself with these design glasses with many functional features such as the removable push-up nosebridge. It looks like the company likes to take the lead and we assume others will follow. This project will certainly contribute to the worldwide brand awareness of the Mikli brand. That is good news for the designer but also for the entire industry as people will be inspired to throw away the ugly frames they use now and replace them for designer ones.
